Human Paratuberculosis Foundation is dedicated to providing the latest research and information about the role of Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (MAP) in chronic immune conditions such as Crohn’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Type 1 diabetes, ulcerative colitis, sarcoidosis, Parkinson’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and more. Our goal is to assist researchers, health care professionals and patients around the world. In Memoriam ~ Prof. John Hermon-Taylor

In Maori the saying ‘Kua hinga te tōtara o Te Waonui a Tāne”  roughly translates to “In the forest of Tāne a great Totara has fallen.” A Totara is a tree which was of great value. The proverb is used when a person of influence and mana passes on. It most certainly applies to Prof. John Hermon-Taylor.
