Desired Outcomes

At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Predict challenges that may arise while caring for patients who may develop unusual problems as a response to a multidrug antibiotic regimen
  2. Develop a care plan that offers treatment and support for patients with complex multisystem problems
  3. Demonstrate a greater appreciation of issues that specifically relate to the needs of female patients with Crohn’s disease, particularly in regard to reproductive issues
  4. Describe Cell-Wall-Deficient forms of mycobacteria
  5. Discuss the efficacy of treating Crohn’s Disease patients with Atypical Mycobacterial Antibiotic Therapy
